Dodge makes you temporarily invincible. The Artist has few options when you're up close, get familiar w/ those so you can time your dodge to avoid damage. Sometimes a simple jump is all you need. There's something you can do to avoid her big showcase attack. Try to do that. You got this!

Also-- If you keep at it and aren't having fun, look into the approachability options. Some will care more about experiencing the story than exhibiting combat skill and there's nothing wrong with that.
