FIFA takes away Iranian flags at the US stadiums

Clarification: this refers to the Shah-era Iranian flag, not every Iranian flag. Per NYT reporting, FIFA barred that version of the Iranian flag. The point of the video is that FIFA claims to be apolitical while deciding which political/national symbols fans may display. That is newsworthy.

People can disagree on the flag. But fans should know what rules are being enforced and by whom — especially at a tournament where politics is already everywhere.
