Is there anything more satisfying that *FINALLY* 'birthing' a splinter that's been stuck in you for *too long*? I've had the tip of a thorn lodged in my thumb for just over a week until finally... this morning...

My good lady can beat that. A full three months after getting this in her hand and less than 24 hours before an operation that would have numbed her whole arm to remove it, this popped out in what must have been the most satisfying expulsion.
