I admit to using ai in workflows sometimes but I swear to fucking god the ability for unskilled MBAs with too much money to throw that money at ai to produce the ugliest most unnecessary nonsense imaginable has been an incredible detriment to hobby communities

back in the day someone who actually knew what they were doing would spend two weeks hacking something together and at some point in that time you would ask yourself "hey does the world really need this" and you'd realize that no it doesn't and you should go outside instead
