According to The Guardian, the United States, Russia, and China could divide the world into three spheres of influence. One of the key concerns is a possible trilateral meeting between Trump, Putin, and Xi Jinping in China next month.

Let's just pretend this is true or that we had the power to do it (we don't); you're telling me the US is willing to cede the EU/UK to control the Western Hemisphere against our biggest rivals? And we don't think in time those two won't come knocking on our door? Is Trump this dumb? Probably.

No. There will be nothing on paper. Congress would not approve of any such treaty. It would end with another 'spirit' and Russians again complaining how they were lied to and betrayed....

China is building a dense network of relationships across all pillars of influence while the United States continues to weaken the institutions it traditionally used to compete. The peacemaker doesn't have the cards 😿 thediplomat.com/2026/10/the-...

US is in a political civil war. Every Asian state, including communist ones hate China & would fight an existential war to the last apposing them & russias nothing. Its One billionth of the economy of Europe. Against Europe, it'd be murdered. It's harder deciding which state gets what part of russia

That has been the intention of Xi and Putin all along & that is why they both wanted the US to abandon its allies, especially in Europe. Trump jumped on the wagon to get undisputed reign over the Americas (incl. most probably Greenland & Iceland) & the Caribbean, aka his Western Hemisphere talk.

Wasn’t it Groucho Marx who said “I don’t want to be a member of a club that would have me as a member”? Guess that is at least as true of Trump as much as Putin.

The report warns that the consequences of such a scenario would extend beyond Ukraine. If Washington abandons European countries in the face of the Russian threat, the entire continent could feel the consequences.

I find it hard to believe that a ruzzia that can’t even handle a single country will pose a real threat to Europe. Yes, putin will grind another 1.5 million if he has to but that would not be enuf to pass by Poland, not even talking of the rest of Europe…

It's also possible that we won't see a division of the world there, but rather a political end of the USA as a superpower. At least as long as Donald Trump stays in power. After that, his successors will be left with a mess of broken pieces.
