Anyone have any advice on how to combat the compression for pixel art on this site? I was managing for a while but it seems to have gotten a lot worse and I'd like to still post what I'm working on without it getting all muddy 😬

Upscaling by 8 is what is I've been doing

I upscale by 8x and it seems to keep the pixels pretty crispy

I know for jpeg compression ensuring that your image dimensions are a multiple of 16 supposedly helps a little bit. this site uses webp compression but it might still help. it is a struggle either way

I've found this to work pretty well for smaller pieces, but when I resize the backgrounds I've been working on they get too big and are resized. Saving the image (in aseprite, at least) as lossless webp with max compression seems to also help, but its not perfect
