I am not sure there *is* a straightforward solution at this point if you are Target. Costco is better. Walmart is cheaper, frequently closer, and no worse.

A good start would be actually staffing their stores so they don’t feel like dirty and poorly stocked ghost towns, raising wages so staff is happy and supported, and firing all the overpaid toolboxes at Target HQ who screwed up such a beloved company over the last decade.
