ADS is a stagnant pool that too many FPS games keep going back too. Like a bad habit by creatively vapid individuals.
Just as bad as ALWAYS needing a Sprint. At a certain point, you're just playing the same mechanics, in identical games, for the past 30+ years.
Innovation is too rare in this area.
What is worth noting that at some point every FPS title strived to have some kind of "red dot" even in setting that prevents the availability of such attachment. Examples like CoD WW2, Battlefield 1 and 5, are most jarring.
I also find it lazy and boring that any kind of ADS sights provide an 100% accuracy right at the end of the animation which leads to exploits like handscoping, quickscoping, etc.
Agree. Every time it's a dispute about the dot or whatever in the very centre of the screen and the optics model that is as least obstructive as it's possible. There is no real reason to not pick the "meta solution".
