Any take-aways from Dr McGuire's presentation? I remember being very surprised to learn that varicella was one of the leading causes of pediatric stroke.

I think one of the most important points for multiple of the diseases discussed was how even if vaccination doesn’t fully prevent disease it overall dramatically reduces severity of illness—including both initial need for hospitalization as well as longer-term potential morbidity (and mortality)!
