I’m trying really hard to understand the perspective here and the best I can land on is “not everything was actually spun around so the placement for certain things is off due to false perspective”

I think part of it is that houses always have to face relative South, which can make things look a little wonky. I imagine they also didn't want to mess with scripting, so they needed the same relative path for Mr Briney to his boat?
