Just because 2 party leaders with 3-4 years to wait, and realistically little chance of becoming the next PM say something outrageous and unpopular, doesn’t mean the country is on the precipice. But the government should get far more robust with their comms.

I wish I shared your confidence that there’s little chance of either of the two leaders of the top two parties in the polls becoming PM. I’m increasingly pessimistic about the likelihood of a Ref-Con coalition. You’re right, there is time to change this but it also needs the US to bottom out.

Not to mention I read that we have invited that shitweasel Johnson to come over here and address Parliament. So we should probably worry about three parties - Labour, Reform and the Tories being Trump bootlickers and seeking to emulate their policies here.
