In retrospect, maybe that's what your skeet really meant. If so, I had to spell it out for myself before I understood it.

My guess is lie about something else

The investment to start with solar is so small these days... Battery prizes are dropping... Crazy to invest in anything else...

Because they aren't nearly as stupid as too many American "businessmen," always chasing the next buck and never thinking long-term.

Of course. Here in Asia we don't want to be beholden to the fossil fuel mafia any more than anyone else.

Solar is the unglamorous, decentralized, buy-your-own-panels version of the clean fusion they promised so long ago. Someday, it will seem almost baroque that we once had a few large point sources of electricity instead of a widely scattered multiplicity of point sources.

Now let’s hope the gas graph goes down to zero fast!
