Obviously this is just my opinion, but I think the only thing worth complaining about is the horizontal list of items. Everything they showed was generally either good or can be ignored completely. I don't really like the voice acting, but that's not a new opinion for a Nintendo game so I'm neutral

The horizontal item menu might work better when actually playing it but an item wheel is just a better option that shows all available items and serves the same purpose. Excluding the items assigned to the d-pad and not considering that some items are locked to child/adult, there’s about 18 items.
