We have a few things in progress that will make dents when they land: 1. We extracted platform emulation into (better, smaller!) composable packages last year, but never finished refactoring CLI to use them. So now it's carrying the weight of both implementations. Will save 19 deps, 117 total, 20MB.

2. The `@netlify/zip-it-and-ship-it` package, responsible for packaging Netlify Functions, supports multiple bundlers. We're working on removing an old legacy bundler. Will save 34 total deps, 32MB. (Would be cool to drop esbuild too...)

3. `@netlify/build` uses ts-node and typescript for very specific uses that don't justify that weight and can use simpler libs. Will save 14 total deps, 25MB. 4. `@netlify/otel` is pulled in but isn't exercised in CLI at all (only in the Netlify build system). Oop. Will save 38 total deps, 53MB.

Other low-hanging fruit that aren't Netlify's own problems: 5. inquirer machinery pulls in 58 total deps and 36MB. Absolutely ridiculous. Clack is 6 deps and 200KB. 6. @octokit/rest to make a couple GH API calls. Nah. Will save 20 total deps, 19MB. Then I think it's a long tail of improvements...
