I bought an estate sale screwdriver antenna at the swap meet last weekend and have a bunch of HDPE and aluminum plate and U-bolts coming in today to try to get it bolted up to Radio Truck

it'd be fun to have a HF antenna on my car, but for now i'm going to settle for a less janky 2m/70cm install

loooots of work. spent hours bonding all the doors/hood/exhaust etc with braid and running solid power. For a while i was running my 10 watt IC-703 as i didnt have a bigger rig for it and some guy on 20 meters called me a liar when i said i was mobile qrp. Took that as a successful test
