Scummy VPN services are NOT! POGGERS! I Am John Mantle

Won't name names but I found a VPN that pretty much has never caused connection issues for me and is entirely free. Also surprisingly configurable without the need for "VIP" subscribtions or whatever. All that any only the occasional ad or two when turning it on.

Not even Youtube is exempt from this, they’re using AI in the US to determine peoples ages based off the content they consume, so if you’re interested in cartoons, anime, or stuff that’s kids like you’re fucked. “Protecting kids” my ass, I mean YTkids exists, why not keep YT uncensored?

Lmao bought a VPN subscription yesterday so this came through a little late. I’m nowhere near street-smart enough to find an alternative though. Hopefully by the time my package has expired we’ll have told the British government to go fucking do one 🫠

im not smart enough to tell you whether these services are trustworthy, or if they keep your data, but honestly idfc. i just know that when i tried them, i had constant issues with connection dropping & had to fight tooth and nail with some of them to get my money back.

another thing that also grinds my gears about these frauds are how they bombard you with "deals" & "discounts"... until they wear off after X months, then they start overcharging the hell out of your cards! its such a cheap tactic to make them LOOK affordable & sucker people in

i did eventually find a service that worked for me & was affordable, but ill keep it to myself. good services benefit from staying under the radar to hide from censorship! just remember: if a service overmarkets themselves, especially through Youtubers, its usually a red flag.
