I still think about good ol' Sheriff Hayseed now and then. If I ever revisit it, I'd do so many things different, it would be completely unrecognizable. I drew the boys as they exist in my head now. I think Todd would be Canadian.

Damn, bro. All the anthro content I used to consume when I was younger seems to be turning more and more into the real life variants of the animal counterparts. I appreciated your artstyle then, and I still do now. Animalistic is not the way, bro. Don't pull a Star Fox 2026.

yeah i could see where you're coming from. New Falco's face is a bit... maybe his eyes are too small. He's odd lol. It's important to tie those realistic elements to something meaningful in the story, or lore. They shouldn't be animals for no reason.

Fair, but there's a certain point where I disengage from furry content for straying too close to animalistic. It stops feeling like a character and more like an uncanny valley curse. Like, don't get me wrong, this still looks charming; but it's really not preferred. Best of luck with this, though

I honestly really like the new redesign except for the legs which I think could be a bit more chunky in portion to body size. Couple other small things but I do think leaning a bit more into the animal side works for giving contrast between the different characters
