Bluesky announces some AI thing that 90% of Bluesky users won't use because they loathe AI. Meanwhile people elsewhere: Guess I can delete my Bluesky account now that they are caving to AI. AAAAAAAAA.

yes, but it's not about being against AI or not. People are on Twitter for reach and reach only.

and people using being Anti-AI as big arguments like this should pull the boot out their ass just be honest. Like, who gives a shit, but don't pull the "I am against AI" while using the site that has a chatbot integrated and half of the users now "(at)grok is this real" below every verified post.

There's a full-on chatbot AI thing integrated and made by X/Twitter, but Bluesky announcing a nothingburger service that will die next year is suddenly a big dealbreaker. I hate people that don't think around the next corner.

Also, way aside the AI thing, X/Twitter is owned by a maniac far right turbo-grifter who uses his company to interfere in wars to manipulate them. THAT'S the reason you should not use Twitter for, not the AI bullshit.

I changed to fluxer this year, instead of discord. If i really need social media, i can always switch to mastodon. American monopoly on tech must end, and bsky sure as hell isnt the player it wants to be!

I would love to use Fluxer as well, but at this point I'm worn out from having to use so many different messengers. Having to use two (with Discord and Matrix) is already a pain @_@
