Congratulations to the Top 8 players at the RC in Europe, who will now battle it out for two World Championship invites and the trophy! 🎉 Check out the Top 8 matches on the livestream, and meet the players and their Modern decks in this thread. 🧵

Anthony Pav finished in first place after the Swiss, going undefeated with Living End. "It was familiar despite not effectively playing the deck for about two years."

Gerardo D'Elia qualified for yet another Pro Tour with Azorius Chant. "The deck is very well-positioned in the meta, with a good matchup versus Broodscale."

Cristobal Abril Navarro made the Top 8 with Boros Energy! "Ragavan is the best card because if the opponent does not respond, the game is over."

Sebastian Sachse is a longtime Broodscale devotee, with a Top 8 at Magic Spotlight: Modern, 9th at RC Antwerp '25, and 56th at Pro Tour Edge of Eternities. Now he adds an RC Top 8 to the list! “I am here to show that Broodscale can be played without Ugin's Labyrinth.”

After a Top 8 at Magic Spotlight: The Avatar earlier this year, Timothée Blondiaux is now in an RC Top 8, playing Broodscale! “It can be fast and it can also be super resilient; powerful on many different axes. Eldrazi Temple is the best card: it lets me cast 6-drops on turn 3.”

Filippo Dello Iacovo made the RC Top 8 with Devoted Druid Combo. "I felt like preying on Broodscale Combo, and I enjoy playing green creature combo decks. Leyline of Abundance allows for explosiveness, turns every dork into a must-kill, and is a payoff, too."
