Listening to Portnoys book & it’s the perfect summation of why I liked him and why I don’t like him anymore. the rise of Barstool is a cool story & I’ve enjoyed a ton of his & Batstools content but this 2026 version of him has been fully taken over by his rich, Zionist, conservative, boomer brain.

Any remnants of that apolitical common man is totally gone. Dude can’t mention NYC without taking a dig at Mandami. He can’t mention politics without slamming the libs (but never dares say anything about Trump/MAGA) , he just can’t avoid politics despite being too dumb for it
