The allegation worth investigating isn’t the name-calling. WSJ says it reviewed messages in which Guilfoyle sought $100,000 for her AmEx while offering a donor help reaching Trump officials. Her lawyer disputes the messages’ authenticity. If genuine, that deserves an independent ethics review.
