In 2012, Rogers told Reuters the U.S. should engage moderate Muslim Brotherhood members. Now he cites El-Sayed's 2012 support for Egypt's elected president as evidence of Brotherhood ties. Neither statement establishes membership. Welker put Rogers' own words in front of him.
