This headline doesn't align with reports from the past several months. Voters are tuned in to corruption and Ken Paxton is very closely tied to corrupt and immoral behavior long before this was a competitive race. Not as sure about Abbot but he's definitely not been a voice of propiety.

Paxton was impeached for his corruption by a GOP Lege. It ain't a "sleeper" issue.
