And here's my dumb ass thinking that of course familiarity with niche movement tech and level memorization should be rewarded in a game where the tagline is basically "you're a lil guy that goes fast." I don't doubt that there's folks that would have that complaint it's just such a silly one to me.

actually dev time is closer to 20 seconds it's just that the method to skip 80% of the level is very inconsistent and extremely difficult to pull off

people are nuts then cause all the best liked official 3D Sonic games these days are the ones that let you fly over everything if you're good at the game lol also Red Mountain is my favorite Adventure era stage so its really cool to see its influence here :D
