My dad was a nuclear engineer, and said that he chose EDF for his electricity supply because he believed in nuclear power and state run energy companies. Privatisation of public utilities is racketeering.

Imagine selling off state assets for pennies on the pound, surely you’d feel pretty stupid right about now and wouldn’t be still advocating for ripping out what’s left of the copper!

I for one am happy to subsidise the energy bills of a bunch of people just like me but whose politicians are slightly less ideologically captured, this is a good system
