An "indigenous people" is the people who displaced the previous "indigenous people". The concept of "indigenous people" is a myth.

It doesn't matter what they did among themselves, or what the invaders did to them.

An "invader" via boat is no different than an "invader" via land bridge. Study some anthropology, my friend, and you'll learn that homo sapiens did not originate in the Americas.
