Final phase of reorganising my various websites was to strip all of the non-shiny app content from milton-the-cat.rocks so that it now hosts only my shiny apps. There's not many, but it has the following delights:
Post
soccR: This app allows students to explore how we model relationships between variables using data from the 2018-19 English Premier League seasons. milton-the-cat.rocks/soccr/
winR: This app is designed to help learners explore the idea of empirical probability by trying to find out the true win probability of the Atlanta hawks by 'sampling' data across a run of games using a win/loss (binomial) model. milton-the-cat.rocks/winr/
CI explorer: An app to demonstrate what a confidence interval represents using the mean. You can vary the population parameter, its standard deviation, the sample size and width of interval then simulate the resulting confidence intervals milton-the-cat.rocks/ci_explorer/
Sampling the linear model: An app to explore how sample size and sampling error affect estimates of population parameters in a one-predictor linear model (e.g., simple regression). milton-the-cat.rocks/lm_sampling/
Gig dashboard: With this dashboard you can view information about every gig/concert I have ever attended (more or less). Not sure why you'd want to but fill your boots ... milton-the-cat.rocks/gig_dashboard/
