Used to know comp sci colleague here that taught the sole ethics course for their students. Colleagues in her (of course) department constantly bad mouthed it & encouraged students to get out of it however they could because “waste of time” This was 1 3-credit course out of 130+ credit curriculum

I once cheated on a Christian ethics test, but that was just for bragging rights. I didn’t make a habit of it.

I, a CS Major, had to take one ethics course and it was 90% intro to the idea of ethics and 10% talking about copyright. Clearly they should’ve made us take at least two courses. It did make me wonder what the ethics for engineers class was like though. Hopefully better.
