Canada has 1/10 of the US population…. U.S. goods exports to Canada in 2024 were $349.4 billion That means: Each Canadian spent $8735 U.S. goods imports from Canada in 2024 totaled $412.7 billion Each American spent $1179 Canadians have been giving Americans $7556 more per person

He is practical and sensible. Outlines really our only choice. Concentration is an issue for any business, same for a country. Breaking our dependence on the USA will make Canada much stronger and resilient in the long run.

I'm very impressed with Carney. What a breath of fresh air to hear an intelligent politician who knows exactly what he's talking about and with a viable plan. Canada is lucky. Our politicians run on outdoing eachothers cash splashes with a smattering of how poor they were growing up.

Thank you for the excellent interview. I know it is frustrating for Americans as to why?, we are hurt and betrayed. I agree with Mr Carney, threatening our sovereignty is a new low by Trump.

Great interview ! The contrast between PM Carney’s thoughtful, measured, articulate answers to questions is such a stark contrast to trumps incoherent ,reckless , and idiotic nonsense.

Great interview. Wonder why you didn’t ask him any questions about Carney’s brilliant hey let’s buy up the US treasuries soon as he became PM & later he coordinating with UK & Japan to sell some of those treasuries to wake Trump up to the reality of a possible #TrumpDepression for his idiocy?

I’m no economist but I can say it won’t be difficult for any country to restructure around this current US administration. #47’s cabinet are egomaniacs trying to please an imbecilic egotistical man-child while sabotaging the people who put them in power. The US could become Canada’s 11th province 🤔

As a Canadian I truly appreciated Scott Galloways concluding the interview regarding Canadians as siblings. Much has been spoken about tthe anger Canadians feel at the Trump Administrations threat to our sovereignty. What is not said but equally felt is our sorrow at the rift between us now.

Betrayal is just about right. There is so much admiration for the US economy, but unfortunately, no more. Hopefully, we can rebuild and open new markets soon, it will take much longer than expected.

As a Canadian I appreciate your sentiment. As human being I think you need to crush this apathy around due process and foreign mega prisons. And the president bullying the courts. Right now rule of law in the USA is fucked.

Thank you <3 I know this deep down because there are other countries I've felt similarly about, but hearing the rhetoric from Canada, Mexico, Europe, etc. is tough...You all can't just sit and wait for us to fix this, though - and I understand that - so there will be long-lasting damage =/

I have no animosity towards Americans. My animosity is towards Trump. The destruction he is wreaking on the economy on both sides of the border is terrible. He doesn't care. I have no expectations from a ma who doesn't understand our shared history.

One phone call and Mark Carney buying up US treasury as soon as he became Prime Minister and coordinated with the UK in Japan later on to sell some of those US treasuries to terrify Trump into some respect

Mark Carney is not a stupid man, knows how global economies work and told him how the US economy would tank if the bullshit continued (my personal opinion). Why did countries start dumping US treasury bonds and as a result, why did Trump put a pause on tariffs? Things that make go you Hmmmmm

I was inspired that Carney wants to take advantage of the upcoming brain drain forming in America. I have a kid in college that’s going to need a sane country for building a sane future. I hope Europe develops a similar attitude toward Americans trying to escape the suicide regime.
