I predict Trump, who has bet the entire economy on the overinflated valuations of AI, will bail out AI/data centers. Ordinary people will likely be the ones who pay.

How many retirement funds are carrying these AI/data-center stocks ? Ordinary Peasants / unwashed masses are a source of wealth that's been exploited for decades and will continue to be until they start thinking for themselves. My complaint is that the rest of us are going down with them.

It should be the Zucherbergs, Ellisons, Bezoses, Altman, Musks, and all the other billionaires and tech bros hyper-inflating the valuations. We just need a govt with a considerable amount of spine to hold them to account. We won't get that with Republicans and Centrist Dems.

Democrats are losing for a simple reason: they don’t want to protect voters where it matters. Health care cartel, massive fraud in Medicare and food stamps, insane projects that steal taxpayer money like California high speed rail: NONE OF THAT MATTERS. What matters to them is AI

The once vaunted "checks and balances" of the Constitution are dead. This Congress is acquiescent for every illegal act he's committed so far. SCOTUS has with little exception given him the green light to disregard the Constitution on far weightier matters than these.

Of course he will. I think the AI companies push for regulation is so that they can hand taxpayers a flaming bag of shit when they can't pay their bills.

With more refineries literally on fire over the weekend, hello $5+ gasoline and $8+ diesel in the US? The spike in diesel prices corresponded exactly to Trump's attack on Iran, triggering what retired Army General Steve Anderson calls “The greatest geopolitical disaster in US history.”
