SNAP access is at risk in Massachusetts. We need to take action now! Federal cuts are stripping vital food assistance from families—and the situation is made worse because they can’t reach DTA.

Overwhelmed and understaffed, 77% of calls to DTA caseworkers go unanswered. Over the last year, federal cuts and lack of access to DTA have led to 190,000 people—including 67,000 children—losing benefits.

This is preventable. No one should go hungry because they can’t reach help. We need our state leaders to fund more DTA caseworkers who are working hard so families can keep the food assistance they deserve.
