Go to loopnet.com — a commercial real estate listing site. Search your city or metro area. Filter by property type → "Industrial" Then filter size → 200,000+ sq ft These large warehouse spaces are exactly what ICE has been buying to convert into mass detention facilities.

Show up to your city council meeting with your list. Demand proactive hyperlocal legislation such zoning restrictions, disclosure requirements, or outright bans on leasing to federal detention contractors. Local law is often faster and more responsive than federal/state action.

Organize proactive and peaceful community messaging to let warehouse owners know in advance that your community opposes ICE detention. Owners often don't anticipate community blowback — make sure they know what's in store before they're even approached by ICE.

If you learn ICE is showing interest in a warehouse in your community, don't hesitate. Report the site to projectsaltbox@proton.me and organize resistance campaigns. We'll research and provide the data. Early reporting gains you more time to act.
