Millions of US citizens are struggling with the debilitating effects of long COVID. Many of us were counting on the NIH research into real treatments if not a cure. And we know that’s only one of many diseases that will be impacted.

Trump doesn't care about the health of the working-class citizen; he only cares about the "financial health" of his rich billionaire buddies. All of these dangerous and egregious cuts to basic health are an accounting means to fund a HUGE $4.7 Trillion tax cut for the rich. Totally immoral!

Also, research on Rare Diseases! My son suffers from Hypokalemia periodic paralysis, and has had to be pulled back from death 3 times. It's genetic, and needs gene treatment, like other rare diseases. What about that life saving, and life improving research,?

Many of us in the post-viral syndrome community- Myalgic Encephalomyelitis etc, which is also included in Long Covid complex symptoms,have been holding on for dear life, hoping for a breakthrough now that more money had been allotted, and more, serious research initiated.
