With all due respect, what would you have the rest of us do if they insist on shi**ing where they eat? I say that as a scientist who has gotten so damn tired of being told to sit down and shut up. This story isn't new. If someone wants me to help fix a problem, I'm there but this...

I live in the Permian and I cannot drink or cook with my well water, it’s so full of minerals. About a year ago it got really bad, smelled terrible and left orange residue on everything. There was a new well being drilled about a mile away.

They’ve long injected hazardous waste from oil and gas production underground (sometimes they dispose of it in POTWs). For the love of Pete, stop using the word toxic the way you consistently do, because it’s wrong and make you look like hacks. Toxicity is a function of characteristic and dose.

Everything is toxic in a certain medium at a certain concentration where exposure to human or ecological receptors occurs. If you want to be factually correct and still reflect the gravity of the problem to the general public, describe it as I did above.
