if you understand the tx gop formed its own autocracy answering to no one then it’s easy to see why they abuse their offices, power & allowed the really wealthy donors in tx to shower them with gifts, tx is often presented as the autocracy incubator, in any office paxton was, is & will be corrupt

1,000 taxpayer-funded trips. $3.3 million in security. Only 138 even tied to actual state business. Ken Paxton does not have a travel schedule, he has a heist with a per diem.

I read factual Gov. reports that Taiwan was the #1 country for US politicians/official business to visit. I used to live in SE Asia and TW. There was child prostitution EVERYWHERE. Go back further, ask any Vietnam Vet and they will tell you too. Dig deeper!

Is there reputable other sources to the Paxton family story on how his eye became lazy? Or is it like Laura Bush killing her high school boyfriend but it's only her story there r no other witnesses/accounts! Come on, GOP r nothing but liars, we all know it. I suspect Paxton eye is more than!

I'm positive one "security cost" is at least triple your calculations. You're not factoring in all the agencies and employees that do prep for the one trip/action. Loss of time employees working on more important task has "costs". Then cool down time for employees to then go back to daily tasks

So if I have my math right, he’s been AG for about 10 years. Has taken about 1,000 trips. That’s about 100 per year… and a year has 365 days … seriously wtf.

I think he might be the most corrupt MAGA aligned politician in the country, which is actually quite an accomplishment if you think about it.

Wow, 138 were ostensibly for state business? Surprised and doubtful. Maybe he had *a meeting* related to his job as the worst AG in the USA, but spent the rest of the time with one of his mistresses.

The voters in TX seem to love this crook 12+ years. Articles of Impeachment • Articles I–V (Abuse of Office): • Article VI (Whistleblower Retaliation): • Articles VII–X (Misapplication of Public Resources): • Articles XI–XII (Obstruction of Justice): • Articles XIII–XX (False Statement):

Ken Paxton's security detail has cost Texas taxpayers $3.3 million. Investigators could establish a state-business purpose for only 138 of nearly 1,000 trips. One imagines the Texas attorney general has confused public service with a particularly generous frequent-flyer program.

The Texas State Auditor is appointed by the Texas Legislative Audit Committee and Dan Patrick, TX Lt Gov, is the Co-Chair along with the Dan Burrows, TX House Speaker. It is evident these people are not doing their jobs effectively. sao.texas.gov/About/Legisl...

Well, well, well. But we still don’t know how he’s funded those acquisitions he traveled on the Texas taxpayer’s dime to finalize. The math doesn’t math, Ken.
