If anyone has any recommendations for a non-Cloudflare global load balancing service, please let me know. It must have DDoS mitigation, IP blocking through an API, custom TLS configuration (private cert and TLS versions), and health checks to remove failed nodes. Tried AWS and Fastly but no good.

Yeah, feature wise, CF is just *that good*. Yet having explored this exact issue, our conclusion was to be able to build a system that can switch from Cloudflare to a different provider. Fastly isn't good enough for us as our main, but it's a contender for an emergency backup.
