The British Government just used a country wide disaster alert mechanism with full klaxon sounds to remind people not to start fires. This is the same alert system designed to warn of impending catastrophe, including war, evacuation orders, and in the worst case, inbound nuclear strike.

Anyone with a sleeping baby, anyone who works nights, anyone who is elderly and doesn't check their phone often, they've all just been massively disturbed to remind them not to use a disposable barbecue. What a way to make a joke of one of the most critical pieces of UK infrastructure.
