I get when visibel white folks message me to apologize for not speaking up about the genocide in Palestine earlier/at all, but that still leaves a reality in which brown folks and minorities took all the flak for years of doing the right thing. Late is better than never, but there's more you can do.

White ppl should be calling other white ppl out. We're the ones who are late to the party.... And we should sit with that. And that should be our own shit... Not anyone else's problem. I don't care how old granny is.. she's alive and thus able to learn. Hold her accountable. End of story.

I genuinely feel like to a lot of people I've just become "one of those guy that yells about a genocide we all see but why are you yelling about it, you can't stop it anyway" while I'd fucking love to be posting about video games and industry news and a non-genocidal eurovision and all that

And I'm me. I've lived in the (semi-)public eye for 15 years, I'm used to this, I have an audience, I can handle it. There are so many brown folks with far less reach, far less experience, far less safety getting to work for justice - while there's white folks with everything sitting quietly.

I understand the math that they're doing doing - it's easier to be "non-political" and then later say "I was against it all along". I get it, they have that luxury because this genocidal Israel with its US infinity money and weapons cheat aren't coming for them and theirs as of yet

So yeah, if you're one of those "sitting quietly on the side", go fucking support some people that are taking the hit on this on your behalf. Buy their game, their book, fund their crowdfunding campaigns when they get fired - if you're going to shut up at least fund resistance.

You're being too generous to these people. The liberal ones are super vocal about trans, immigrant rights etc, but absolutely silent on Israel's genocide. Like Kinda Funny who say they support a free Palestine, but shilled for Biden/Harris and constantly prop up that Zionist Neil Druckmann.

Lebanese-American here, been giving my country an earful for 15 of my 30 years. I knew that once it made the white women cry, the movement would finally gain traction. Sadly, I also knew it would take 90% of the Palestinian population being wiped out before they’d let a single tear fall.
