Gotta admit that the painfully necessary USB-C followup to the Mango micro router is one gadget I'm very happy to receive. If you're traveling a lot & handle sensitive files or network configurations, the Mango was a must-have & I've recommended it endlessly. Will let y'all know how the 2 compares.

Have you had to keep track of a micro USD cable until now? I still have one device that uses it and it's kind of a pain to have to locate a cable every month or two.

I hated that & replaced my Mango with a USB-C ASUS RT-BE58Go and genuinely hated the experience. It was slow and used too much power so it needed basically PD adapters, while the Mango (and Mango 2) seem to run off of the static energy of blowing on a USB cable & boots to function in seconds.

There's a lot of benefits, security and VPN, being able to use LAN in your hotel room, using tailnets or similar, being able to share one (paid) internet connection to multiple devices, ad blocking/tracker blocking at network level, control over usage for metered connections, etc. etc.
