Very interesting. We will be heading out shortly to the gem show in Quartzsite, Arizona. I know nothing of gems and cutting them, but am always fascinated by what's on offer. Good luck with your hobby!

Definitely gonna plot a trip to the southwest where a lot of the big shows seem to be, like Tuscon, and make a thing of it. One dayyyy. Traveling with kids is exhausting

Yes, they start in Quartzsite with an RV show, and giant swap meets, (why we are there camping for the month) and then the gem show moves on to Tucson where the prices go up.
