I miss my baby, Carmela. She was the first cat I adopted. She was a curmudgeon and pretty much only liked me. But she was a sweet girl, even if she didn't like to be touched. #cats

Cats are so odd. Just like people. My Fig loves to be around me but will not tolerate hugs or smooches. Fig sleeps next to me but has slept on me only once. When I watch TV, he plops in the next chair for all night. I’m just glad for what I get. I love him ❤️ 🐈‍⬛

I'd sit on the sofa and she would come over and lean against me, but I wouldn't pet her because she didn't like it.

I wonder if cats don’t have more variety of true purrsonality, character and intelligence than we ever give them credit for. They are stereotyped as sleepy slackers but I see our 3 making their own decisions all the time. My Fig sleeps near me, sits near me, snuggles but won’t allow me to hold him
