I use a knife to open boxes, cut steaks and wittle wood, in nyc they can arrest you for carrying a knife. Sometimes people only see one use for a tool, ignoring other uses that might be dangerous.

There are trade offs to all choices personal or political. You aren’t choosing between republicans and democrats per se. you are choosing between aristocrats, demagogues, and patriots. The aristocrats will assuredly rule the nest. But we can limit them. open.substack.com/pub/ppoplico...
