Texas Paul, I am one of your Ride Or Die Community. I listen and watch your postings every day. If I come online you are where I go! I too am scared about the Midterms. BUT, after watching special elections and local elections where I live I feel we are going to kick ass. fuck the bot's.

I'm in Texas. Who are our Democratic leaders? As far as I know, we have none. We can support our potential new leaders, but who do we contact to insist they get off their asses and do their jobs? Do we concentrate on leadership in other states with seats we might actually influence?

Getting Dems to fight each other & stay home to ‘show’ Dems is how MAGA won in 2024. We can’t afford single issue assholes who aim fire at Dems but refuse to hold MAGA Repugs who are in majority accountable. We also can’t afford doomsayers. Both suppress OUR votes. I block both types regularly.

James Talrico is a good bet for Texas. Jason Schlossberg from NY state, JFK’s grandson, is a good bet. The two women governors just elected in New Jersey and Virginia( I think), are strong Democrats. They overturned a predominantly Republican dominated constituency for decades. Midterms are key

That’s a fair point. We need to continue to get out the vote and fight any illegal shenanigans coming from the whitehouse. I don’t want any democratic to feel complacent, but I also don’t want them to feel defeated and not acknowledge the accomplishments we have made all year.

They’re not dejected, they’re emboldened. They also have the wind (of rigging) in their sails. Dems have to be laser focused on the mission. If not, it may be the last time you vote.

People constantly celebrate the 11/2025 outcome but the breakdown of the votes matter. A lot of people are marching on No Kings days and voting or not voting in the other direction. It doesn’t have to be this way. More honest face to face talk about the uncomfortable stuff, please.
