One the one hand, news like this gives me reason to hope that the world is starting to make course corrections. On the other hand, when I see that Marine Le Pen is still a power player in French politics, despair begins to creep back in again. 😟

News of another Trump guy losing is always a nice way to start the day! This was Bolsonaro Jr. Trump's pal Bolsonaro Sr is now serving a 27-year sentence. He was in jail, but because of health issues(apparently real), he is currently serving time in house arrest at his home. He has a ankle monitor.

It's all about meeting with the people. Rallies are great for getting a message across. Meeting people in a community center is better to engage and answer specific questions. It makes folks stop and think, hey, this canidate cares about what I have to say. They'll remember that in November.

I get the message. I'm also relieved for the people of Brazil, particularly the LGBTQI+ people, who have been saying on-line they are terrified of violence from the losers when they looked like winners.
