Social Security's COLA reflects many of the fundamental flaws with America's old-age entitlement program. Like Social Security as a whole, it is too generous to the rich, too costly to the taxpayers, and too unfair to younger, poorer workers.

Its not an entitlement program. Every person who works pays into the system all their lives. Try reporting honestly.

It's a funny form of libertarianism that blames the victims of the State's serial thefts and wants to end or decrease what little restitution they might get at the end of their lives. Worse, yet, is one that doesn't mention that the thieves' fatter and earlier pensions get COLAs, too.

And the state thieves steal again by taking Social Security, that they mayn't have even paid into, on top of their government salaries, benefits, and pensions. And this is often their triple dip (two government "jobs" with benefits and pensions then dip Social Security) into their victims pockets.
