Does simply sending an email opt me out of it? as I have not heard back in any form from them, and from what I remember there was something about contacting me through phone when I read it at first which made me not want to send the email at first

sended it from the one that the account is currently connected to (cause I switch of of gmail a long time ago) though I sended 2nd one cause I noticed that even though I replaced the [Your email] I didnt change the date to the new one from the template that had it to I think 3rd of march 2024

Do you (or anyone else) know if a legal name is required in the email? I've seen several templates that include it, but my real name isn't currently associated with my account, and I'd like to keep it that way

I think as long as you send it from the email that you used to create the account, I don't think you need to include any personal information (at least that's how I read it in the ToS, I'd love someone else's insight)

Reminder from their ToS: "Opt-out. You can decline this Agreement to Arbitrate–and no other provision of these terms–by emailing an opt-out notice to arbitration-opt-out@discord.com within 30 days of September 29, 2025"

That means you have until October 29th to send that email. If you don't send that email, you cannot be part of a class action lawsuit against them if your personal info was a part of this data breach. Also you should stop paying for Nitro. It's clear they don't care about their customers.
