A client-side tool deletes the server step. The browser reads the file, JavaScript converts it, the result downloads. No upload request, so nothing to intercept or store.

Test step 1: Open DevTools (F12) and click the Network tab. Test step 2: Clear the log. Now the page is quiet and you can see every request it makes.

Test step 3: Drop in a harmless test .docx. Watch the log. A client-side tool shouldn't send any request carrying your document. If it does, that's your answer.
