Call me an optimist, but my hope for the midterm is that Trump's lust for power did enough damage to MAGA that their selfish self-interest forces them to vote blue. I'm certainly not banking on a change of heart or redemption. Civil society passed them by a long time ago.

Well, for all the MAGAs and MAGA lite people I have talked to, they just keep justifying what he has done with the “he’s doing it for the long-run benefit”. They won’t change. They will never vote blue. No matter what, they still will vote GOP. That’s thanks to Fox News and the church they attend.
