This is F enough! Unacceptable!!!

Maybe Security thought the Senator was a purse thief and he was going after the Sec 5,000$ purse .

No business should be conducted at the Capitol until this is addressed. Time for Democratic Congressional sit-in!

And DHS defense is “secret service considered him a threat” You’re telling me the secret service doesn’t know one of the two sitting senators for the state of California looks like???

This is the people's elected representation being removed from a public hearing. Welcome to Nazi America

It’s just how it’s done in a dictatorship.

He was NOT forced to the "ground". 🙄 Please, stop saying that. He was forced to the FLOOR! 🙄 Every single talking head I've seen on TV today, and every post I've seen online, is saying he was forced to the ground, and it's beyond annoying at this point. Please, do better!

Fed building, so he & everyone in the building was identified & cleared, he had a scheduled meeting w/ other officials, joined the press conf late, Sen. Padilla was escorted by FBI & DHS agents to the press conference fr. his meeting, etc.. video shows rest.

Disgusting treatment of a sitting United States Senator!! This is completely outrageous!

OUTRAGEOUS. We now live in a police state where NO ONE is safe.

Security agents? No, effing federal officers!

@governor.ca.gov @gavinnewsom.bsky.social needs to deploy the local and state police and national guard to protect Californians and the press against Trump's imperial stormtroopers! California authorities are facing, AND FIRING ON, the wrong side! Call Newsom's office! 9164452841 Senator Padilla

The US Senate has to subpoena Secretary Noem to answer for these actions today.

The Big Beautiful Bill will result in unchecked Authoritarian power. This will happen in every State The BBB$ increases detention 365% annually from $3.4B to $45 billion through Sept 2029, increases transportation & removal 500% from $721 million to $14.4 billion! Allots $46.6 billion for barriers

It's starting.

This is outrageous! No respect! ! How dare secret service treat him this way for asking a question? Shame on Kristy the dog killer ! She should be in cuffs!

Journalists, tell me again how this helps Trump and his popularity? Not all the '24 voters are maga. Not seeing the value of the spectacles that are happening these days.
