I get whacked in the nuts in training. It doesn't always stop me or my training partner. A direct hit is harder than it seems and it's like a roulette wheel of potential outcomes; from it doing nothing to making the person go into a seizure if hit hard enough. It's not a magic bullet by any means.

So sad that we’re in the 21st century and we still have to do this because men think we’re property and they can assault us. Not all men but enough that we don’t feel safe walking in our own streets.

Yes!!! Women must stop asking "why me?". Someone comes at the or says they're gonna . . . say "say the hell you are". Yes, you may get hurt. Don't be the only one. 32# pressure to ring doorbell. 12# to take out an eyeball.

Self defence is good in theory; But for it to work in a real life you need muscle memory, the only way to get that is to train 2 or 3 times a week for years. So that's what I recommend, do a martial art for your mind, for your body and for your self defense. ( Father of 2 Taekwondo daughters )

There no magic "technique". There are principles to fighting. Like building a house, you need a foundation. "Some training" can cause people to escalate situations instead deescalating. False confidence is not what people need. If you don't want to train seriously, get a weapon.
